HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Promote safety in their work area(s).
- Observes mechanical devices on molding operation to diagnose potential or recurring problems based on visual or sound indicators.
- Disassembles or adjusts portion of equipment with hand tools or power tools to effect correction of problems due to equipment.
- Using IATF16949 and ISO14001 discipline’s, insures product conforms to established production specifications.
- Performs required preventative maintenance and all other necessary repairs to assigned equipment to insure continued effective and safe operation.
- Communicates observed opportunities to improve safety, quality or production processes which can reduce injuries, scrap or production losses.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas.
- Work safely, adhering to the facility’s quality, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures and continually monitoring the work environment to identify and communicate to team leader/supervisor/ manager current or potential concerns.
- All other assignments deemed necessary while under the direction of the Team Leader, Area Operations Supervisor, Process Manager, or the Plant Manager.
- You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- You have mechanical aptitude with demonstrated experience and relevant training.
- You have experience and training with a variety of molding equipment.
- You possess strong analytical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- You have the ability to work overtime (with short notice)
- You are able to process set-ups that must be maintained and updated when a process is changed.
- You have the ability to multi-task and keep the presses running and supplied with material while producing quality product.
- You are able to take accurate measurements and plot the measurements on a chart as needed.
- A competitive benefits package and a starting pay rate of $22.39/hour, plus a $0.40 shift premium for 2nd/3rd shifts.
