HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Customer Relationship & Communication
- Build and maintain strong interactive relationships with customers.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all customer inquiries and concerns.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
- Order Management
- Develop and maintain profiles with customer specific details in ERP system.
- Create and maintain accurate master price files in ERP system per official quotes confirmed by the Sales Department.
- Enter purchase orders/releases in ERP system.
- Determine and communicate shipment/carrier details to the shipping department.
- Ensure on-time shipment, confirm ASN accuracy, and issue customer invoices.
- System & Process Management
- Manage customer-specific systems and web-based portals.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements through accurate ERP system updates and communication.
- Internal Coordination
- Communicate customer needs, changes, and expectations internally to production, quality, shipping, and management teams.
- Quality & Compliance
- Support ongoing development efforts related to IATF 16949 (automotive quality management standard).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and email.
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing customer service environment, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
- Familiarity with EDI, inventory control, sales forecasting, and logistics preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills required and ability to communicate effectively and courteously with all contacts, internal and external.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Experience using Plex, The Manufacturing Cloud, is a plus but not required.
