HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Perform machine set-up and operate (Panasonic) SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment.
- Assist in the daily coordination and support of SMT dept team working under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
- Assist in scheduling Smt Dept processes including the Router and Soldering cells, ensuring production lines run efficiently.
- Adhere to IPC-A-610H, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
- Operate SMT Machine during product run.
- Change component reels as needed.
- Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Good attendance required.
- Must promote safety in their work area(s).
- Use IATF 16949 and ISO14001 disciplines; ensures product conforms to established production specifications.
- Communicates opportunities observed to improve safety, quality, or production processes which can reduce injuries, scrap or production losses.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas.
- Work safely, adhering to the facility’s quality, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures and continually monitoring the work environment to identify and communicate to team leader/supervisor/ manager current or potential concerns.
- All other assignments deemed necessary while under the direction of the Area Operations Supervisor, Process Manager, or the Plant Manager.
- You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- Previous Leadership experience required
- Previous SMT pcba production experience preferred but not required.
- Previous production experience preferred.
- You are comfortable with working overtime as needed, including weekends when necessary.
- You are able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions & have basic math skills.
- You find new and effective ways to streamline processes for maximum efficiency without cutting corners on safety and quality.
- You are organized, highly efficient and know how to develop specific goals and prioritize with minimal supervision.
- You can perform the essential functions of the job which at times may include for example lifting up to 30 lbs. and standing for long periods of time.
